I’m now trying to install and run some Java midlet applications on Dopod 900 with Windows Mobile Operating System. I found that Dopod 900 has included a Midlet Manager that manage the installation and execution of the midlets in this gadget.

I have no such difficulties to install the midlets as the .jar files will be recognized and then then automatically installed to the gadget when I open them. But I found that several midlets I have created before were failed to be installed with “Invalid jar file” error when I try to open it. Unfortunately.. They run normally on various cellphone.

Integral MP3 Player PDF Print E-mail

Java based MP3 player which remembers the last position of the last stop (which song and which second of play). This is done by saving special temp file. You can view list of folders and files or you can use the main menu update database feature

Like Light Player you can choose in which folders your files are located and what extentions they are. As mentioned before you can save the status of the files between sessions Another great thing is that it is "dual-platform" - it supports both R372 and JSR75 (R373)

This Java application supports two languages - English and Russian. It also supports cyrilic MP3 tags The interface does not depend on the screen size (elements automatically adjusts) - that means that it will be no problems to implement this application to other JSR75 based phone!

Simply move a thumb across the FastScroll navigation wheel to search for music (music mode), contacts (phone mode), calendar (phone mode) and multimedia (imaging mode).

A perfect blend of art and science, the face of the E8 is a sleek, seamless panel that features the first haptic touch pad from Motorola, which provides vibrating, tactile feedback when the user touches virtual buttons.

ImageThe LG Chocolate has a sharp design; satisfying overall performance; and a multimedia-rich feature set that includes Bluetooth, a digital music player, and a megapixel camera with admirable photo quality.

The LG Chocolate's unique touch pad and controls entail a steep learning curve, and the phone suffers from poor streaming video quality and low talk-time battery life. The lack of a speakerphone is disappointing.

Though the LG Chocolate is beautifully designed and offers a respectable mix of features and performance, it doesn't quite live up to the hype.

Basic Fun had a little bit of help from their friends at Activision and Red Octane for their miniature version of Guitar Hero. Measuring just 3 x 7.5 inches, the guitar neck folds down so you really can whip it out of your shirt pocket and thrill commuters with your ax licks. Of course, it's got a pared-down version of the whammy bar, as well as an LCD screen so you know what you should be playing.
